I thought I died last night.
The chords sounded like something straight out of heaven.
The strobing lights and beautiful melodies. The energetic crowd screaming every word to every song. The most incredible vocals you’ve ever heard.
I had to pinch myself for a second to make sure I hadn’t died (or at least wasn’t dreaming lol).
Why?
Well, because last night I got to see one of my favorite artists perform live in concert.
If you haven’t heard of or listened to Chelsea Cutler… what heck are you doing?!
Go look her up and listen to her music immediately after closing this email.
Trust me, you won’t be disappointed :)
Annnyyywayyyysss… there I was with my girlfriend, having the time of my life and taking in every second of every song.
When those piano chords started playing. The crowd screamed. A huge grin started to form on my face.
Chelsea started playing one of her most popular songs: You Were Good to Me.
Now, as much as I was trying to live in the moment (and trust me, I was), my mind started drifting to another place. That song got me thinking…
It was one of her most popular songs. But it wasn’t because it’s a beautiful song (it definitely is).
It’s because she collabs with another artist on the track who just so happens to also be a fave of mine lol.
And their voices? Man, their voices just pair so well that as much as I love Chelsea as a standalone act, the song just wasn’t the same without the other artist singing the first verse.
Anyways, I was reflecting on that moment this morning and it got me thinking about online business and building a digital brand.
You could be one of the best writers or designers or marketers around. You’re great on your own.
But you could become one of the best if you just had the right person building alongside with you.
It’s the reason why companies always try to hire the best talent. It’s the reason why founders need a reliable co-founder.
Building alone can only get you so far. But building together? Man, you could be unstoppable.
So if you take away anything from this email (other than to go listen to Chelsea Cutler’s music), let it be this:
Find your tribe. Connect with others. Build your own community.
When you’re working together with others, the possibilities of what you can accomplish are limitless.
That’s all for today.
Hope you have a splendid weekend :)
